Maybe you should've had a verbal tilt as well, because it seems you misread that whole slide. It doesn't state that mico-fluctuations in personal economies cause shifts, but that large shifts can occur independent of the elected political party (micro-fluctuations across the world can cause shifts at home) and this can be misattributed to the performance of the political party, leading shifts in voting.
