The following passage is from “Korea the Impossible Country”:

"During a 2006 meeting between North and South Korean delegates, the former brought up the issue of South Korea’s race mixing. When a Southern representative stated that the amount of mixing amounted to no more than a “drop of ink in the Han River.” The reply from the North was blunt: “Not even one drop of ink must be allowed to fall in the Han River.”

"On average, South Korean men are 5 inches or so taller than North Korean men, whilst there is but a mere inch in it when you compare the height of North Korean women with their southern cousins."

If the supposed differences in height between the N/S is nutritional, then shouldn't the women be relatively the same SD of "shortness" as the men?

The height discrepancies are probably a sign of a dysgenic north rather than a dysgenic south.

5 inch height difference is pretty normal for one population split between high and low animal protein intake. Average Brit fighting in the American Revolutionary war was 5ft 4in, now they're 5ft 10in. Similar story with the Japanese from 1850 to 2000 (5ft to 5ft 7in).

The fact that the Dutch were among the shortest of Europeans in the mid 19th century, but are now the tallest in the world, shows that genes for height can change this much in short time spans.

How much do you think per capita animal protein consumption has increased in the Netherlands in 150 years?

Probably around the same as the rest of Europe, unless you have reason to believe they used to be vegetarians.

In 1900, the average Dutchman was 168cm, today the average is 182cm. Although there may be a genetic component to this, most of the change is likely due to increases in animal protein consumption. The same story can be seen in every human population on the planet. South Korea did it in 50 years - almost certainly not due to genetics. North Korea remains stunted.

It's important to keep in mind how poor the average person in a Western (or any other) country was before 1900 - animal proteins were a luxury.

Quite creepy, wonder whether the people living there can even come to first steps that they're living under an unnatural despotic regime and that all truth and reality that has been cut off from them.
